The Transnational Education and Development Company (TRANS COOP), a non-profit civil company, was founded in January 1994 by Greek and German partners as the result of their long-standing cooperation in the field of promoting entrepreneurship, supporting development initiatives and developing human resources.
TRANSCOOP is active in the areas of program planning, management of transnational and national projects, planning of regional development programs, human resources development as well as the promotion, organization and support of cooperation networks and the transfer of know-how at national and transnational level.
TRANSCOOP was the Coordinator of territorial cooperation projects Greece-Italy & Greece-Albania 2007-2013, Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020, Coordinator of the National strand of the EU ESF Project, Coordination of the LOC-FOOD project of the Ministry of Interior - Sector of Macedonia and Thrace, etc. It also has significant experience in the implementation of projects in the agri-food sector, such as the projects “Development of Identity in Production, Land and Region” - DIONYSOS - INTERREG VA Greece - Bulgaria 2014-2020 (for vines and wine), “MARAKANDA” for the preservation of the characteristics of Mediterranean markets by creating clusters of historical markets - cities, for the promotion of the integration of production chains of high quality agri-food products in the markets, etc.
