Gkoutsidis Vineyards
The Gutsidis vineyards are located in Dikaia, Evros, in the triangle of Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey.
The first vineyard was established in 1998 in an area where vines had existed since ancient times. Today, the vineyard covers 75 acres and is located at an average altitude of 300 meters. The climate of the area is continental and the vines grow in cold winters and mild dry summers, while a favorable, gentle wind blows on the slopes. The climatic conditions, which are largely shaped by the Evros River, contribute decisively to maintaining the mild climate throughout the year.
Some of the most important Greek and international grape varieties thrive in the vineyard.
Whites: Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Roditis and Sauvignon Blanc
Reds: Mavroudi, Limniona, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and the local Thracian variety Pamidi.
The producer produces a large number of wine labels, the vinification of which takes place in the small privately owned winery located near his vineyards.
The trade names of the winemaker's wines, which are sold throughout Greece, are: Aethra (white), Sauvignon (white), Rinitis (dry white), Aloys (white), Limnionas (red), Pamidi (rosé), Droseros (rosé), Epyllio, Marous (red), Oinos Dikaion (red), Mavroudi (red).
