Goudousakis Vineyard
The producer's vineyard is located in the village of Mavrokklisi in the Prefecture of Evros, approximately 26 kilometers north of Soufli. The vineyard was planted in 2009 and covers an area of 20 acres. The producer produces dry and semi-sweet red wine using his own grapes.
The varieties used for the production of wine and tsipouro are mostly French, such as Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Other varieties of the vineyard are Hamburg Muscat and Greek Malagouzia.
The producer does not bottle wines, but sells bulk wine in demijohns, to individuals and stores in the Municipality of Soufli and Alexandroupoli. He also produces anise-free tsipouro.
